Anti-Ragging Cell

The Anti-Ragging Cell at Chandigarh Pharmacy College (CPC) Jhanjeri is a dedicated body committed to preventing and addressing ragging within the campus. This cell operates to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.

We employ a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, with stringent measures to deter such activities. Regular counseling sessions, workshops, and strict monitoring help maintain a ragging-free campus.

Students are encouraged to report incidents without fear of retaliation, ensuring prompt action and support. The Anti-Ragging Cell is essential in fostering a secure and harmonious academic atmosphere at CPC Jhanjeri.

Anti-ragging cell take action against a range of activities, including:

  • Physical Abuse: This includes beating, hitting, or any form of physical assault
  • Verbal Abuse: Insults, derogatory remarks, or language intended to humiliate or demean
  • Sexual Abuse: Any act that involves inappropriate sexual behavior, harassment, or assault
  • Public Shaming: Humiliating or ridiculing new students in front of their peers
  • Psychological Abuse: Creating a sense of fear or inferiority among new students through threats or intimidating behavior
  • Forcing Undesirable Tasks: Compelling new students to perform tasks or activities that are demeaning, embarrassing, or unethical Public Shaming: Humiliating or ridiculing new students in front of their peers
